Welcome to the "Kids CAN" Code & Publish a Roblox Game Camp! We are excited to have your child join us for an adventurous journey into the world of game development. This document outlines what you and your child can expect from our three-week immersive experience in creating and sharing their own Roblox games.

What Your Child Will Learn:

• Game Design Skills: Your child will learn how to use Roblox Studio to design engaging game environments and obstacles.
• Coding Fundamentals: Through the basics of Lua scripting, your child will learn how to bring their game ideas to life with interactive gameplay elements.
• Publishing Their Game: The camp concludes with your child publishing their game on Roblox, giving them a taste of real-world game development and sharing their creations with others.

Camp Structure:

• Duration: 3 weeks
• Session Frequency: 1-3 hours per week
• Learning Mode: Online asynchronous with optional synchronous office hours via Zoom. Personalized feedback and guidance will be provided to help your child develop their game.

Final Product:

Each participant will finish the camp with their own game published on Roblox, a testament to their creativity and hard work that they can share with friends and family!
