Welcome to the "Mothers CAN" Write & Publish A Book Camp, the Mother's version of the "Kids CAN” Write & Publish a Book Camp! We are delighted to have you embark on this transformative journey from budding writer to published author. This welcome letter outlines what you can expect from our four-week adventure into the world of creative writing and publishing. Keep in mind that the first week of the 3-week program will unlock on July 1st, and the subsequent modules will unlock weekly on Mondays.

What You Will Learn:

• Creative Writing Skills: You will learn how to craft engaging narratives, develop dynamic characters, and create compelling plots.
• Understanding Story Elements: We will explore the fundamental elements of storytelling to help you construct a story that resonates with readers.
• Self-Publishing Process: The camp culminates in the self-publication of your book, providing a real-world experience of how books are brought to life. We offer step-by-step guidance on the publishing process.

Camp Structure:

• Duration: 4 weeks
• Session Frequency: 1-3 hours per week
• Learning Mode: Online asynchronous, occasional office hours via Zoom, assistance in publishing, and personalized feedback via comment section.
• 1-year access, can be taken anytime

Final Product:

Each participant will finish the camp with their own story published in a professionally-bound book, a keepsake they can be proud of!

Please Note:

We recommend that you provide yourself with a physical notebook for use throughout the program for notes, sketches, or written drafts. Feel free to choose any type of paper that suits your writing style.
